Orders placed with us will be shipped to you directly using EMS (Express Mail Service). You will receive an email with a tracking number for your order. You can track where your package is by entering the tracking number on the EMS website.

Delivery Time
Usual delivery time is between 7 to 10 business days. Click her for a list of estimated delivery times by destination. For further information, please visit the EMS website. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays in Japan are not considered business days.
All orders are shipped from Japan.
Please note that we do not ship to PO boxes.

Our online store is managed in Japan. Because we also deliver from Japan, customs and import duties may be charged upon delivery depending on location. See below for an estimate on duties and taxes that may apply. Please contact local authorities for further information.

Customs and Duties Reimbursement

1. Scan or take a picture of the relevant documents indicating the amount charged for customs and duties.
2. Take a picture of the outer box making sure that we can see the tracking number, your order number, and the names of both the recipient and sender.
3. Get in touch with us using our contact form. We will reply to you within 3 working days, requesting the information we need.
4. Reply to the email we send you with 1. and 2. attached.
5. Once we receive your reply, we will send you a voucher code that will entitle you to a discount equivalent to the amount you paid on customs.
6. This code can be used on your next order: there will be a box to enter the code when you proceed to payment.


Please Note:
- This reimbursement is only applicable when customs and import duties are charged.
- VAT does not qualify for reimbursement.
- You must contact us within one week of receiving your package.
- It may take up to 5 business days from when you contact for you to receive your voucher code.
- The voucher code is valid for 6 months.
- The voucher can only be redeemed against orders under YOUR NAME.

About PayPal: PayPal is an online transaction service available in 190 countries around the world. You will be taken to the PayPal payment page after confirming your order and selecting PayPal as your payment method. Enter your PayPal account details to complete payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be given the option to create one. You can link your bank account or credit card to your PayPal account for future payments. If no payment is made within 7 days, the order will be cancelled automatically.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
1.ONLINE RETURNS

We will be glad to refund or exchange goods purchased online (http://www.kamakurashirts.net) provided that you inform us within 14 days of their arrival, and that the goods are returned to us in their original condition with tags attached.
Please contact us with your name, order number and details of the products that you wish to return. In the case of an exchange, no additional fees for re-dispatching the exchanged product will be incurred. However, the cost of returning the goods to Japan will not be reimbursed unless the item is faulty.

We cannot accept returns of goods that have been
- worn (other than to try the item on)
- damaged
- soiled
- washed
- altered

We are also unable to accept online returns of merchandise purchased at any of our stores.


2.IN-STORE RETURNS

- USA
Any merchandise purchased at a Kamakura Shirts store in the United States must be returned to a Kamakura Shirts store in the US. Online purchases and purchases made outside of the US cannot be returned to our US stores.

- Japan
Any merchandise purchased at a Maker’s Shirt Kamakura store in Japan or through the Japanese website (http://shop.shirt.co.jp) must be returned to a Maker’s Shirt Kamakura store in Japan or to the online store department in Japan.

1.Products

Do you have shirts with pockets?
Yes, all of our button-down shirts have chest pockets. This information is given on each product page.
Is there a way I can tell what the product ID is for the shirt I own?
You can find the product ID on the left seam of your shirt. The product ID is also listed on each product page.
How do the different fabrics differ?
You can find out about our different fabrics here.
Do you offer custom-made shirts?
Our Made To Measure service is available at our NY store and some stores in Japan.

Can I have the shirts altered?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any requests regarding alterations.

2.Size

What is the difference between the Tokyo Fit and New York Fit?
The New York Fits were created to coincide with the opening of our New York Store.
The New York Fits (both slim and classic) have a longer body and sleeves in comparison to the Tokyo Fits. Click here for more details.

We would be happy to help you find the best fit/size.
Please contact us with your measurements (height, weight, neck, sleeve, chest) and the brand and size that you usually wear using our contact form.
How do I tell what the fit/size is of the shirt I own?
You can find out the fit and size by checking the label on the neck. Navy labels indicate a Slim Fit and white labels indicate a Classic Fit.
I'm a 15-33 at a different brand. Can I order the same size at Kamakura Shirts?
Shirt sizes differ across brands. Please contact us with your measurements (height, weight, neck, sleeve, chest) and the brand and size that you usually wear using our contact form.

3.Shipping and Delivery

Where will my shirts be delivered from?
All orders are shipped from Japan.
Will I be charged duties and taxes in addition to the total cost of my order?

I have not received my package yet. Do you know where it is?
You can track your order by using the tracking number that was emailed to you when the order was dispatched. Click here to track your package. If your item is in retention, please contact your local post office to arrange a redelivery. All of our packages are insured. If the order is lost or stolen, please contact your local postal body to claim this insurance.

How often do you restock items?
We try to restock our signature collection shirts weekly. Other than that, we have new arrivals every week.
Please follow our news and twitter for information on new arrivals.
How can I return my order?
